If I am not in network with your insurance, may be able to cover the services under your out-of-network insurance benefits . You should check the amount of deductible you will need to cover before you can get reimbursed and what the maximum covered amount per session is under your plan. I can provide you with invoices to facilitate filing a claim under your insurance plan. In addition, if you have a health savings plan through your employer, you may also be able to use the invoices to file for reimbursement under that plan. Out of network fees are based on a sliding scale.
It is difficult to determine how many sessions it will take to work through an issue as it will first take a few sessions for us to have a good understanding of what brought you into therapy. Symptoms usually signify the presence of an emotional need that has not been met. The symptoms themselves can often be brought under control after a series of sessions but there may be chronic or more complex issues which require longer treatment in order to gain the understanding needed to work through and change repetitive patterns and dynamics.
